The People You'll See

Meet our warm and welcoming staff here at the Inn at Round Barn Farm. Some of us come from the Mad River Valley and some of us are from places farther flung. But we all agree this is the most beautiful place in the most beautiful state. Let us help you set up a plan to see Vermont and our lovely little slice of heaven. From cheese to beer, from mountains to lakes, from music to art, it’s all here and we can’t wait to share our favorites with you.

Neillea Dee

When Chef Neillea isn't in the kitchen, you can usually find her scoping out amazing hyperlocal ingredients grown by her farmer or artisan food friends. She's a NJ transplant living and working in the state she now calls home - Vermont. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, she has worked in NYC at PerSe, Marea and more. Working in fine dining gave her an introduction to treating ingredients with respect, but she feels certain that nothing can compare to getting her hands dirty and pulling food straight from the earth here in the Mad River Valley. Her menus are rooted in this type of connection which she believes is completely unique to Vermont. Neillea is more than just our chef, she's our go-to for creative inspiration, always delivered with a smile. Ask her how she's doing and the answer is always an emphatic "SO GOOD!"

Stacey Misenko

Stacey is part of the Round Barn family in more ways than one! Stacey and her husband were married here in a stunning summer ceremony and she then went on to become our event planner then venue specialist. Who better than a Round Barn Bride to help you with your venue decision? We'd be lost without radiant smile and her love of the RBF.

Becky Greene

Becky joined the team in 2012 and brought a new sense of energy to the barn!  She was born and raised in NY and moved to VT with her husband and daughter in 2011 and she's called the Mad River Valley her home ever since.  Becky loves local food, but it's her knowledge of local brews that will "wow" you. Most importantly, she's passionate about planning an event that's perfect for you!

Andy is our "Guy Friday"- a pinch of innkeeping here, a dash of housekeeping there, and a sprinkle of maintenance around the Inn keeps him busy! Andy is also a gifted and talented artist - his medium is beautiful stained glass. Ask Andy about his time in England - this world traveler is a gifted conversationalist certain to make your stay a pleasant one.

A lifelong resident of the Mad River Valley, you can find Alyson welcoming guests and helping curate your Vermont experience from the perspective of a pro. When she's not here at the RBF, she's wrangling her two active toddlers, all the while being a picture perfect fashionista!

Steph Koontz

She blew in one summer day in 1993 and has become a fond fixture here ever since. Afternoon Innkeeper Emeritus, she has taught our current team to take you on a tour, answer all of your questions, and acquaint you with the amenities of your room. She's moved on to her next chapter in Alaska, which we know is full of adventure.  We miss her everyday while we do the afternoon rounds, bake a new batch of cookies, make dinner reservations, or just catch up with our guests like Stephanie would do.
